Director of Operations

Toronto, ON

Full-time, Permanent

(a) Assist with the day to day management of SRXs Operations group including, but not limited to, the Pharmacy, Patient Support team, and Sales divisions

(b) Responsible for management of operations team in conjunction with the Vice-President, Patient Services and Operations as well as monitoring and maintaining high levels of team engagement.

(c) Assistance and management backup to the Vice-President, Patient Services and Operations

(d) Project management assignments as directed by Senior Executives of SRX

(e) Identification of potential new markets and long-term growth opportunities and the identification of potential risks with respect to same and the development of reasonable and prudent strategies for exploring such new markets and growth opportunities;

(f) Client report and report auditing as well as project updates

(g) Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.

(h) Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary

(i) Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.

(j) Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals

(k) Engagement and development of relationships with potential Stakeholders and the entering into of contractual relationships with other businesses dealing in pharmaceuticals at the retail, wholesale or manufacturing levels, Specialists, governmental agencies or other stakeholders involved in health care related businesses where appropriate and approved by SRX.

(l) Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs

(m) Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

Experience:

  • supervisory: 1 year (Preferred)
  • pharmaceutical: 5 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
