SpecialtyRx commits to donate masks, gloves, hand sanitizers and financial aid to hospitals to support the Canadian COVID-19 pandemic response

Toronto, March 26, 2020 – Specialty Rx Solutions is pleased to announce today that they are donating thousands of masks, gloves, and commercial hand sanitizers to Canadian hospitals to contribute towards the cumulative effort to manage the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

SpecialtyRx has been in constant contact with healthcare providers across Canada as they deal with this crisis and its effects on the Canadian healthcare system. Recently, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reached out to Canadian businesses to ask for assistance with the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare providers and SpecialtyRx is happy to be part of this effort. The company is also exploring other means to improving the supply and supply chain of PPE products and is working with its partners around the world to meet the demand.

The commitment announced today builds on the previous efforts by SpecialtyRx, whose staff have been on the front lines with their pharmacy, nursing, and allied health teams.

In addition, SpecialtyRx will be making a $50,000 donation to local hospitals to assist with keeping staff on during these difficult financial times. “Working together is what we need to do, in order to help Canadians in this time of crisis” said Adesh Vora, President of SpecialtyRx.
